Roxie with her owner Jacqui

“Our 6 year old Rottweiler Roxie could hardly walk when we brought her to the Dog Studio, the expertise, care and techniques used by Trish and Adam have enabled her to be an energetic lively dog who loves being out and about in her favourite woods. Thank you so much for getting her back to full fitness. We would certainly have no hesitation in recommending The Dog Studio.”

Roxie in the spa

Roxie was brought to us with hip dysplasia, she struggled to walk when she first came to us and was initially referred to us to build her up prior to surgery.

now the treadmill

Roxie started to improve almost straight away and after only 20 sessions she no longer needed surgery.

free swim in the pool

Roxie had a warm up in the Jacuzzi spa before a session in the treadmill followed by a session in the pool then back in the spa for a warm down.

swimming against the jets

Hydrotherapy is an excellent non weight bearing exercise coupled with warm water builds muscle mass up very quickly this muscle can then support the joint and very often means that dogs like Roxie can avoid surgery.
